Am I eligible to Donate Plasma for Medical Research?
We greatly appreciate your desire to participate in our blood plasma donation program to assist with medical and diagnostic research. We are a specialty plasma donation center, specifically recruiting individuals diagnosed with difficult allergies, antibody-mediated autoimmune disease, certain viral and bacterial conditions, and rare red blood cell antibodies.
Each potential donor is screened through antibody blood testing for our program. Acceptance into the program is based on current antibody levels associated with your medical condition. Review of medical records may be requested by our medical director.
At PlasmaLab, we strictly adhere to Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and HIPAA regulations. Some experiences, health conditions, or medications may temporarily or permanently prevent persons from donating plasma.
Please review our donation requirements page to determine if any exclusions apply to you. Please ask to speak to a PlasmaLab technician if you have any questions about your eligibility to donate plasma. All plasma donations take place at our medical center in Everett WA.
